All irregularities reported or experienced by the organizers will be immediately investigated and, depending on their severity, may even lead to disqualification.

The organizer declares that it will file a report after any detected violation of the law during the competition, and reserves the right to immediate/subsequent disqualification and to reclaim the possible fee in all cases where the sanctioning regulations of the VSZ are not complied with, or the competitor’s declaration of integrity proves to be untrue.

The decisions of the Competition Court are made by a simple majority, in the event of a tie, the chief judge decides. The “List of competition judges and weighing competition judges” is no. 3 of the VSZ. forms its annex.

Team

A team consists of 2+1 full members.

Equipment

A team can fish with 4 rods, 1 single hook per rod.

Two boats are allowed per team.

The use of fish radar is allowed.

Each team is required to have at least five floating scales in which the fish can be safely stored until weighing. From the time of objection to the weigh-in, the responsibility for the integrity of the fish rests with the competitors.

During the entire duration of the competition, an additional and also forfeiting condition is the presentation of the additional equipment prescribed here, and then continuous use of it as intended. In addition to at least 2 large immersion bags (minimum 90x90x70 cm, woven under 1×1 cm). In the case of the 2 carp mattresses with a minimum internal size of 60×100 cm according to the regulations, the use is already necessary when catching a fish over 5 kg, when lifting it out of the water, as a safety pad! The use of the carp mattress is also mandatory in boats, and the use of a – preferably colorless – wound disinfectant after photography is also mandatory for all fish.

Penalties will come into effect due to the non- or improper use of fish protection devices.

Boat and water policing rules

The boat cannot be longer than 5 meters and shorter than 2.5 meters.

The use of inflatable boat is permitted.

Only electric motors can be used in the competition.

The maximum speed of the boat can be 15 km/h.

The use of a life jacket in the boat is mandatory for the entire duration of the race.

Putting the boat on the water before the start of the competition is only allowed if the drawn fishing spot cannot be approached from the shore. Violation of this rule will result in immediate disqualification.

The boat must be secured properly and securely on the shore.

Other official competition rules

The official start of the competition, scheduled for 24.11.2024. 07:00

The official end of the competition, the date of which is 30.11.2024. 07:00

During the competition, it is forbidden to permanently illuminate the water with powerful reflectors and to disturb other anglers with light and laser devices. A searchlight and a smaller reflector can only be used in the most necessary cases (throwing, sacking) and depending on the purpose. Clearly visible, continuous night lighting of the fishing area and the fishing rods thrown in it is mandatory. The use of headlamps by competitors is permitted at all times.

It is possible to bait and feed – with the exception of live bait – all non-environmentally harmful substances. There is no limit to the amount of feed per team!

4 fishing rods can be used at the same time, but it is possible to keep additional equipped spare rods in case one of the active rod is damaged.

If the competition court notices that an additional stick has been used in addition to the 4 permitted sticks, the concerned team will be immediately excluded from the competition by the Competition Court.

A fish caught before the end of the competition is counted in the result if it is caught within 60 minutes.

Fishing rules

During the duration of the competition, only the competitors, the organizers and persons accredited by the organizers may stay in the designated competition area.

In the event that, during the pull-in, the neighboring teams violate the neighboring team’s territory, they must ask the competition judge to resolve the situation, during which his decision is binding for both parties.

One person from the team can leave the designated competition area at the same time.

In each case, one person must stay at the designated camp site!

It is possible to place buoys at the fishing spot, a maximum of 4 per team, but their removal is mandatory at the end of the competition.

Pulling on the neighboring team’s buoy is forbidden.

The use of the light buoy is permitted.

The maximum pull-in distance is possible to the designated places, which can be marked by the buoys placed by the organizer.

When fish tiring, the competitor may leave his sector and pass his buoy, but he must return to his own sector within the shortest possible time.

Regarding all boundary disputes, the decision of the competition judge is binding on everyone.

The use of feeder boats during the competition is strictly prohibited.

After fish tiring from the boat, the caught carp may be transported to the shore for photography in the following ways:

-After releasing the hook, the carp may be left in the water together with the spear, and towed in such a way that the head of the fish faces the direction of travel.

-After releasing the hook, the carp may be transported from the bag lying on a mattress with rigid walls and constantly sprinkled with fresh water.

– Anyone who breaks this rule will be given a warning the first time and disqualified the second time.

Local rules of the competition area

After occupying the drawn-out area, the teams are obliged to ensure that the place is properly kept clean and the environment protected, and then leave the place in the same state as it was occupied.

It is strictly forbidden to light a fire at the campsite, except in the places designated for it by the authorities. The use of camping gas is permitted.

It is only possible to camp in the place designated by the organizer, and the instructions of the competition judge must be followed in all cases regarding the placement of the tents.

The vehicles of the teams may only move in the competition area during loading and unloading, in order to avoid the possibility of irregularities and the safety of the competition, if the owner of the area gives permission to do so.

It is only possible to store their cars in the designated parking lot, and they cannot move on the race track during the race.

Competitors must arrange for the collection of garbage in a sealed plastic bag, which the organizers will transport after the end of the competition.

Competitors must comply with the organizer’s instructions during the entire competition, in designating the size of the fishing spots and in approaching them.

During the duration of the competition, only the competitors (3 people), the organizers and persons accredited by the organizers may stay in the designated competition area.
The competition locations can be accessed by car, except for stand C9, which requires moving in by boat. The use of caravans is not allowed in all places, so we draw the attention of the teams to prepare for camping as well.

Weighing rules

During the competition, the organizers provide continuous weighing from sunrise to sunset, and an extraordinary night weighing can be requested if the 5 mandatory floating scales are full and a fish larger than 20 kg is caught.

Competitors are obliged to actively participate in the entire weigh-in, photography, and data recording process, however, in justified cases, the weigh-in can be suspended for the duration of the fatigue and then the sacking.

It is the competitor’s duty to report all fish caught that can be evaluated to the regionally competent competition judge via SMS to the competition judges in the sector.

From catch to weighing, the fish must be stored in a floating scale – of the quality specified in accordance with the VSZ – at a suitable (minimum 1 m) water depth.

The evaluation can only be done with the device provided by the competition judge and the organizer and presented to the teams, otherwise it cannot be included in the result.

At the weigh-in, a member of the given team must be present as the judge and a team member from the neighboring team who authenticates the catch.

The weighing documentation (date of catch, competitor’s name, weight of fish caught) must be authenticated by the signature of one of the team members.

It is the responsibility of the contestants to check the correctness of the indicated data.

After the official documentation of the measurement, a photo is taken of each fish caught and evaluated, with one competitor holding the fish in his hand, while the other holds the sector board next to him with the necessary data.

During the weigh-in, the photo taken by the competition judge for the purpose of documenting the competition takes precedence, after which photos for private use may be taken, but the fish must be released immediately after the photo is taken in the presence of the competition judge.

The documentation can only be modified with a countersignature from the competition judge.

If there is a discrepancy between the evaluation sheets of the competitor and the judge, the entry of the evaluation sheet of the judge is valid.

After weighing, the competition judge forwards the obtained documentation and photographs to the organizing center, where these data are recorded.

In all circumstances, the most important thing is the safety of the fish, so photography and release must be handled carefully.

After the weighing, the fish can only be released by the judge or, in the presence of the judge, by the next team member.

In the case of fish over 15 kg, which, according to the competition, still has a chance for the prize of the biggest fish, two consecutive measurements are mandatory, but in the event of a possible discrepancy, the result of the weighing showing the larger weight will be registered.

  1. DISCIPLINARY OFFENSES, SANCTIONS:

The notification of competitor activities contrary to the regulations of the Competition Notice is considered a protest. Protest only in writing; can be done at the e-mail address provided here. Warnings indicated in a different way will be rejected without justification.

After the start of the competition, it is not possible to interpret the Competition Notice, the organizers provide this possibility in principle during the registration process.

If the competitor notices an irregularity and reports it as a protest no later than the end of the competition (by 7:00 a.m. on 30.11.2024, it is an advantage to be able to document it with a photo or video recording), then the case will be investigated within 12 hours and no later than 30.11.2024. It will be closed until 12:00.

The administration cost of the warning is EUR 100 per occasion and per reported case.

The cost of a protest classed as justified by the Competition Court will be refunded, in the case of an unjustified warning, the amount paid will not be refunded.

Vis Maior

In case of failure of the competition due to unforeseeable reasons (vis maior), the amount paid will be returned and the organizer will transfer it back to the specified bank account within 30 days. In addition to these reasons, the already paid entry fee will not be refunded if the teams withdraw for any reason.

From the point of view of the application of the VSZ, a case of vis maior on the part of the competitors, in particular, an unexpected and medically certified illness, an accident certified by the police, or a required appearance certified by a mandatory authority, which cannot be modified in time, is considered a case of vis maior; on the part of the main organizer, especially the inadequate water level, and in the case of external pollution, the officially certified sudden deterioration of the water quality.

If the vis maior event affecting the main organizer occurs already during the competition, before 50% of the competition time has elapsed, then the results of the competition so far will be deleted and the unchanged field will start the competition again in the next competition period with unchanged place allocation (suspension of the competition). If more than 50% of the competition time has passed before the event, the results will be announced based on the results achieved up to the end (competition interruption). Pronouncing failure, ordering suspension and interruption is the exclusive right and responsibility of the Chief Judge.

Exclusion rules

In all cases, with the exclusion, the result achieved up to that point is also deleted, and fishing cannot continue with the excluded team. When interpreting the exclusion rules, the principle of zero tolerance must be applied in all cases.

Fish destruction or mutilation directly or indirectly related to an intentional act, as well as marking the fish or any attempt to do so, will result in immediate disqualification. If the organizer becomes aware of the implementation or possible attempt of any of these actions later (even after the end of the competition time), it will result in subsequent disqualification.

The presence of a person not registered in the team in the boat will result in immediate disqualification.

In the case of any violation of the VSZ or other fish or environmental protection rules, repetition after a warning or other irregularity.

Any attempt to bribe judges or their assistants will result in immediate disqualification and a police report.

It results in immediate disqualification and a police report if the team does not wish to include the fish it caught in the result.

Disruption for which you have been warned several times, excessive alcohol consumption, serious violation of rules of conduct unbecoming a sportsman, will result in immediate disqualification.

Any use of outside assistance will result in immediate disqualification.

Fish not caught with a hook will result in immediate disqualification.

When using a boat at night, the lighting of boats traveling in the dark (with headlamps or navigation lights) is mandatory. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a warning the first time and disqualification the second time.

Improper storage of caught fish and unsportsmanlike handling of fish are prohibited. The team that violates the rule will receive a warning in the first case, and will be disqualified in the next case.

After fattening from the boat, the caught carp may be transported to the shore for photography in the following ways:

-After releasing the hook, the carp may be left in the water together with the spear, and towed in such a way that the head of the fish faces the direction of travel.

– After unhooking, the carp may be transported from the mouth lying on a mattress with rigid walls and constantly sprinkled with fresh water.

Anyone who violates this rule will also receive a warning the first time and disqualification the second time.
